Yanga FC will not play their friendly international match against visiting Kenyan side Tusker due to limited time, the clubs head coach Kostadian Papic said
The Serbian coach said his team can not play the international match as they do not have as they are preparing for the second round of Vodacom Premier League (VPL)
Yanga was supposed to play the Kenyan side today at the national stadium in Dar es Salaam, speaking Yanga information officer Luis Sendeu said coach Papic has advised the team management that his team should not play today’s game as they want to concentrate on the second round of VPL and other international assignments.
“ The coach has decided that we should not play today’s game , so that the players have enough time to rest before we start preparing for the second round of VPL and other international tournaments ” he said adding that the management has respected his suggestion and the team will continue with its usual training .
In a another development Simba Club head coach Milovan Cirkovic has said his team has enough time to rectify some of the problems which his team committed at their game against Tusker FC .
The coach said he will rectify the technical problems which his team committed before meeting Kiyovu of Rwanda in their Confederation of African Football (CAF) game
Cirkovic was speaking this after his team was forced to 1 all draw against the Kenya side
“ Am not worried with my team performance during the match against Tusker , I believe that we have enough time to improve before meeting Kiyovu in CAF games ” he said
